If you already enjoy Michael Jackson’s music, this looks like the clearest fit: the show reworks his hits and centres on choreography and visual effects. Audience feedback also repeatedly praises the dancing and music. I’d consider it for a group with different tastes if the songs themselves are a shared draw, but it’s a less certain pick for someone who mainly wants elaborate acrobatics.

Set expectations before choosing

The show combines dance, aerial acrobatics and effects, but the balance matters: several audience accounts enjoy the production while wishing there were more Cirque-style acts. One particularly dissatisfied account found the music very loud and the visual effects more prominent than the acrobatics.
