Snow Canyon State Park is a 7,400-acre desert park in St. George, Utah, renowned for its dramatic red Navajo sandstone cliffs, volcanic cinder cones, and lava flows. Located at the junction of the Mojave Desert and Great Basin, it offers over 18 miles of hiking trails, petrified dunes, and slot canyons.
Gunlock State Park is a state park of Utah, USA, adjoining the 266-acre Gunlock Reservoir that impounds the Santa Clara River. The park is located approximately 15 miles northwest of St George. The reservoir dam was constructed in 1970 for irrigation water and flood control
St. George is a rapidly growing city in southwestern Utah, known as a premier outdoor recreation hub and "basecamp" to Zion National Park. Situated in the Mojave Desert with a, warm, dry climate and over 300 days of sunshine, it features iconic red rock landscapes, world-class golf courses, and popular attractions like Snow Canyon State Park and the Tuacahn Amphitheatre.
