- The Nellis Dunes Recreation Area (also known as Apex OHV Area) is located approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Las Vegas, near the Apex exit off I-15, with main access via N. Las Vegas Blvd near Clark R. Petersen Rd. Please check in at the van that says “Las Vegas ATV Rental"
